NO PEACE DOV CONSIDERS POLITICAL RUN

Dov Hikind considers run for Brooklyn Borough President

According to a source, New York State Assemblyman Dov Hikind is considering a run for the office of Brooklyn Borough President. The seat, currently occupied by Marty Markowitz, may soon be available when Marty runs for Mayor, leaving it open for Dov for the taking.

According to the source, Dov is tired of trekking to Albany and wants to come home already. Being that Dov never actually followed his previous plan to run for a Citywide office, this may well be his current best option.

Dov Hikind at it Again
When he's not praying against the Israeli "disengagement" or leading "solidarity missions" to the Gush Katif colony in Gaza, New York State Assemblyman Dov Hikind manages to find some time to focus on matters pertaining to New York. Recently, that included proposing legislation giving permission for police to use racial profiling (as if that didn't occur already).
Over the weekend, state Assemblyman Dov Hikind said police should be focusing on those who fit the "terrorist profile.''
"They all look a certain way,'' said Hikind, a Democrat from Brooklyn. "It's all very nice to be politically correct here, but we're talking about terrorism.''
It's no surprise that such an anti-Arab and anti-Muslim suggestion should come from Hikind. As mentioned before on this blog, he was a devotee of the viciously racist Rabbi Meir Kahane who advocated the "forced transfer" of all Palestinians from Israel and the Occupied Territories.
